\nso you are one of those poetry people I see from your earlier blogs! I LOVE POETRY!
\nand I also enjoy the challenge of new vocabulary and non-english words.. it makes me feel like I am doing more than reading(:
\nbut I am a library and I have heard that many people downloaded the books from online and listen to them..
\nI did the same when I was reading a book for Honors this summer. It had French in it and it always made things fun to listen to when it pronounced the words correctly and hearing how funny they sounded (:","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"42234110","body":"i am a librarian","dateCreated":"1315595048","smartDate":"Sep 9, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"Khrystyne","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/Khrystyne","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"}}],"more":0}]},{"id":"42017278","dateCreated":"1315276763","smartDate":"Sep 5, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"Ms.Olson","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/Ms.Olson","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1284080642\/Ms.Olson-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/2011english3bfirsthour.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/42017278"},"dateDigested":1532428309,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"The Raven","description":"If you read Poe's famous poem, The Raven, you'll have to check out The Simpson's version of that. I must admit--he's pretty good at it. I give him credit for having a classy Halloween tradition! This story is so incredibly creepy! I use to teach it years ago to freshmen, but they had a terrible time understanding the story because of Poe's complex sentence structure and advanced vocabulary. Are you struggling at all with it? I found you get use to it the more you read him. Do you agree with that? Like Laura, I think it absolutely rocks that you commented on everyone's blog. Please continue if you can! Perhaps with your help, and the help of others, we can have some great conversations about literature.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"42107388","body":"No i am not finding any difficulty reading Poe although i do need to look up some words, and I will do my best to comment on everyones blog again.","dateCreated":"1315420170","smartDate":"Sep 7, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"CWishman","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/CWishman","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"}},{"id":"42252312","body":"You're a step ahead of me Cody! I have no trouble with Irving or Whitman, or Hawthorn or even Shakespeare, but there is something about Poe that gets me stuck! Its not that I don't understand what he's saying, I just... can't believe that he's saying it! I read The Telltale Heart after Justin Niday did a reading of it for Speech Team last year, and I thought I was misunderstanding the story because its so.... dramatically crazy!","dateCreated":"1315626929","smartDate":"Sep 9, 2011","userCreated":{"username":"lauraroe94","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/lauraroe94","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1283044124\/lauraroe94-lg.jpg"}},{"id":"42298110","body":"I'm glad the language is not stopping you from enjoying Poe.
